Welcome to Rinku Engineers, a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-reliability mechanical sealing systems. Our specialized range of Single Spring Seals is engineered to provide a robust and cost-effective leak-proof barrier for various industrial centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment. Designed for simplicity and durability, these seals are the ideal choice for handling clean liquids, oils, and mildly abrasive fluids in general-purpose industrial applications.

Our Specialized Pump Range

Single Spring Seal
The standard Single Spring Seal is an essential component for water pumps and process machinery. By utilizing a single, robust helical spring, it provides uniform tension to the seal faces. These seals are highly versatile, available in various configurations to fit different stuffing box dimensions and shaft sizes.
Industrial Mechanical Seals
Beyond the single-spring variety, we offer a comprehensive range of Industrial Mechanical Seals tailored for specific pressure and chemical environments. As a specialized manufacturer, we ensure every seal is built with precision-ground faces—such as Carbon, Ceramic, or Silicon Carbide—to meet the exact friction and wear requirements of your process.

Industries We Serve
Our single spring sealing range provides reliable fluid containment for:
-
Water Supply & Irrigation: Ensuring leak-proof performance for agricultural and municipal water pumps.
-
Food & Beverage: Providing hygienic and durable sealing for liquid transfer and processing.
-
Chemical & Pharma: Managing mildly corrosive fluids and solvents in standard process lines.
-
Textile & Paper: Reliable sealing for wash water and chemical additives in high-speed machinery.
-
Oil & Gas: Durable performance for auxiliary pumps handling lubricants and light fuels.
Reliable Sealing for Industrial Centrifugal Equipment
Maintaining a secure seal in rotating machinery is critical to preventing fluid loss and protecting the environment. As a premier manufacturer and supplier, we address these fundamental sealing challenges:
-
Problem: Clogging and spring failure in seals handling fluids with suspended solids.
-
Solution: Our Single Spring Seal features a large-diameter non-clogging coil spring. This open design resists the buildup of solids and ensures consistent face pressure even in fluids that are not perfectly clean.
-
-
Problem: Frequent seal leakage due to shaft misalignment or vibration.
-
Solution: The flexible design of the single coil spring naturally compensates for minor shaft run-out and axial movement, maintaining a tight seal face contact for longer operational periods.
-
-
Problem: High replacement costs and complex installation of multi-spring units.
-
Solution: With fewer internal parts, our single-spring units are easy to install, maintain, and replace, significantly reducing the total cost of ownership for your pumping systems.
-
Technical Specifications & Features
-
Non-Clogging Spring Design: The large coil diameter prevents the accumulation of fibers or particles, making it more reliable than multi-spring alternatives in dirty fluids.
-
Bi-Directional Capability: Many of our designs are independent of the direction of rotation, allowing for easier inventory management and installation.
-
Premium Face Materials: Available in Ceramic, Carbon, Silicon Carbide, and Tungsten Carbide to suit the abrasiveness of the fluid.
-
Robust Secondary Seals: Utilizing high-quality Nitrile, Viton, or EPDM O-rings for maximum chemical and thermal compatibility.
-
Easy Field Maintenance: The simplified construction allows plant technicians to perform quick inspections and part replacements without specialized tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is a Single Spring Seal better than a Multi-Spring Seal?
A Single Spring Seal is much better at handling fluids that contain small particles or fibers. Because the spring is thicker and open, it is far less likely to get “clogged” or jammed by solids compared to the tiny springs found in multi-spring units.
Can these seals handle high-pressure applications?
While Single Spring Seals are excellent for low to medium pressure, they have limitations. For extremely high-pressure environments, we recommend our specialized balanced or high-pressure cartridge seals.
How do I know which face material to choose?
It depends on the fluid. For clean water, Ceramic vs. Carbon is standard. For abrasive fluids, Silicon Carbide vs. Silicon Carbide is much better at resisting wear. Our technical team can help you select the best combination for your pump.
Is the direction of the shaft rotation important?
Some single spring designs are “handed” (clockwise or anti-clockwise), while others are independent of rotation. We offer both types to ensure a perfect fit for your specific motor and pump configuration.
